AT THE DAWN STUDIO

  1. We create intimates that honor and reconnect us to our true nature.

  2. We celebrate that which is most powerful + delicate in this world: your body, your story and our shared Mother Earth.

  3. We work intentionally from a foundation of honest materials, void of unnecessary pollutants + harmful hormone disruptors. Our aim is to leave the world more supported, more connected and cleaner than how we found it, one thoughtfully created piece at a time.

  4. Simply said, we think “responsible” practices should be the norm, so we aim to lead by example and hope to inspire YOU as well as all companies/ brands to demand better for ourselves and Mother Nature by slowing down.

OUR STORY, OUR DAWN

While looking for intimates, we discovered it was hard to find actually sustainable pieces — made without plastics, chemicals, or tons of energy or water wastage. We found a lot of marketing + not enough truly-ethical options, made consciously at every step of the process; So, we set out to offer pieces that give us all a chance to live in line with the philosophy of doing less harm.

We created what we were looking for - pieces that connect and remind us that we are all a part of something larger, that we all fit seamlessly into the arms of Mother Nature. With undies, as something we toss to landfill at the end of life, we found it important that every stitch biodegrade / return to earth. With garment-making as a predominantly women-fueled field, we felt that small, local, fairly-paid production was just as important to our core.

We also sought to design pieces that could handle all the joy, carrying, lifting, nourishing, playing, commuting, relaxing, errands, gathering, learning and teaching we do. As sisters, leaders, listeners and beyond, it is our duty to breathe, to move, and embody our truest selves in this world (and inspire space for all to do the same).
